Microsoft profiles GCIT customer success story Oculus Group
In 2019 Microsoft selected GCIT to profile some of our high-profile deployments. One of these was Oculus Group, an accounting and financial services firm located in Tweed Heads, NSW.

Highlights of our ongoing management of Oculus Group include:
- Ongoing compliance with Australia’s tough Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) laws. Enacted in 2018, the NDB exacts strict penalties on businesses that expose client data to risk. Companies found to be out of compliance risk millions of dollars in fines—enough to wipe out a small company.
- The shift from on-premises to cloud-based servers opened a world of possibilities for other aspects of the business. These include workplace flexibility and remote working.
- Introducing remote management of the IT infrastructure provided by GCIT.
