GCIT Wins May Award for IT & Digital Business at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards
We’re excited to share that GCIT has taken out the May 2025 IT & Digital Business Award at the first round of the 2025 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
This award recognises the way we combine modern IT, cybersecurity, and AI with practical tools and personal service, helping Gold Coast businesses stay protected and productive every day.
Our mission to empower a more secure and productive Gold Coast
Our submission outlined how we use smart automation, custom tooling, and structured service delivery to deliver better outcomes without unnecessary complexity or cost.
We highlighted our:
Internal development capability: We build and maintain our own automation tools, PowerShell modules, and API integrations, allowing us to deliver industry-leading outcomes and transparent customer reporting without relying on expensive tooling.
Customer security results: Our clients consistently maintain Microsoft Secure Scores nearly twice the global average, thanks to our proactive, structured approach to cybersecurity and compliance.
Community impact: We support not-for-profits with discounted services, partner with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, participate in Clean Up Australia Day, and prioritise team wellbeing and performance.
Recognition for innovation and social responsibility: In June 2024 we were awarded the global Pax8 Social Impact Award at Pax8 Beyond in Denver for our people-first, automation-driven approach to modern IT services and corporate social responsibility programs.
As a local Managed Services Provider, we’ve always focused on helping Gold Coast businesses work securely, productively, and with confidence in their IT. This recognition highlights the great work of our team, combining smart automation, real security outcomes, and human-first service.
We’d like to thank the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards for celebrating innovation in the local business community, and Griffith University for sponsoring the category.
Update October 2026: our clients’ average Microsoft Secure Score is about 1.8x the Microsoft average for organisations with 101 to 1,000 seats.
